Do you remember when you first brought your new baby home from the hospital?
Do you remember the endless fascination of tiny yawns, frowns and stretches? The wrinkled hands, tiny nails, the proto smiles?
Do you remember how small they felt in your hands? How they curled into your chest, still thinking they were in your womb?
Do you remember that slightly terrifying, all-encompassing, gut-punch of emotion the moment you acknowledged that you are now responsible for a new life? The realisation that your love is an ever-expanding, all-encompassing, tangible thing and your life will never be the same again?
Every single time I walk into a home for a newborn session, I feel so privileged to be capturing such precious memories for a family.
Freezing moments in time that will matter so much in years to come.
I love every minute of celebrating the magical first moments of a new life, of celebrating you and your family in those raw and real moments of new parenthood.
This is one of the reasons why I don’t pose newborns.
Natural newborn photography sessions, just about my favourite part of my job!
