London Holiday Photographer | Making memories on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation

What does a vacation photoshoot look like? Well… Meet Stacey

She contacted me because she was looking for a London holiday photographer to capture something really special for her.

You see, 8 years ago, she was working as a nanny in Sloane Square and she met and fell in love with a mounted soldier in the Kings Troops, working on the Horse Guards Parade.

The kicker? Her visa was expiring and she had to go home to Australia. It was one of those BIG LIFE DECISION moments. Luckily for us, the love of Stacey's life resigned his commision, packed his bags, waved goodbye to his parents, and set off with her for a grand adventure down under.

And what an adventure it was. They got married and had two gorgeous kids - but they just hadn't managed to fly back and visit the place where it had all began.

So earlier this year they decided to have one hell of a holiday. Visit the kids' grandparents on their home turf, take a trip down to London, fit in a visit to Paris. It was going to be the vacation of a lifetime.

And what they really wanted, was a London holiday photographer to meet them right where their story began and take a trip down memory lane with them.

They needed someone to help them create new memories  in this special city as a family of four.

I was so honoured to be trusted with such a special assignment.

Capturing magical memories that will be a vital part of people's important family history, is one of my favourite things about being a London Holiday Photographer.

So we met up in Sloane Square and caught the tube over to the Horse Guards Parade, reminiscing about how it all began.

And then we spent half a day together, just enjoying all the couple's favourite London spots and letting their lovely kids discover this incredible city for the very first time.

I'll let Stacey tell you in her own words how she felt about working with a London Holiday Photographer:

“We had a wonderful experience with Kirsty right from our first contact and enquiry.

“Kirsty’s warmth, passion and care was what stood out to us when we found her online and we weren’t disappointed when we met.

“Kirsty is engaging and enthusiastic. Patient and kind.

“She was wonderful at finding the right spots and moments for images and was very kind and patient when our kids decided to suggest some of their own!

“We needed a London Holiday Photographer and booked Kirsty for a ‘Shoots in the city, Personal Paparazzi’ package when we visited London from Australia.

"Our time with her and the photographs we now have together were by far our most cherished part of our trip.

“If you are reading these reviews deciding whether to book your own session I can promise you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Kirsty, we are so grateful for you.”

And THIS is why I do, what I do...

So what exactly can a London Holiday Photographer do for you?

Are you visiting London on the holiday of a lifetime?

Perhaps you already live here and are moving away to another country?

My Personal Paparazzi sessions are specially designed to capture you and your family enjoying the most memorable of moments in our iconic city.

We’ll have a chat about what you and your family like to do together, and talk about what London means to you.

I’ll then come up with a number of custom-planned location and route suggestions.

We will agree a time and place to meet and I will have scouted out the location before you arrive. I plan all of my sessions in advance, so on the day I’ll take you to where the light and scenery is best to give your family a truly breath-taking background in which to be themselves.
