Mini photoshoots, Maximum joy
A seasonal mini session is a short, relaxed family photoshoot I run just twice a year — once in spring, once in autumn — in a beautiful London park when the colours are at their very best. Twenty-five minutes, the whole family, no stiff posing and no “everyone say cheese”. Just your lot being your lot, while I catch the real bits.
In that little pocket of time, I get the photos that matter most:
The whole family in one frame — together, laughing, all of you (yes, you too).
You and the children you made — the cuddles, the giggles, the in-jokes.
Each of them exactly as they are right now, personalities and all, before this stage races off into the next.
They're short, they're brilliant fun, and then you're back to your day — knowing a gallery full of proper, joyful memories is on its way. No faff, no big production. Just this stage of your family, held onto before it's gone.

Cannizaro Park, Wimbledon
Every seasonal mini session takes place in Cannizaro Park — a bit of a hidden gem tucked beside Wimbledon Common, with leafy lawns, grand old trees and pretty corners that turn properly magical when the seasons change.
It's the kind of spot that does half the work for us: lovely light, room for the children to run about, and gorgeous natural colour as a backdrop — whether that's autumn reds and golds or fresh spring blossom.
Once you've booked, you won't have to think about a thing. I'll send precise directions, exactly where to meet me, and a friendly guide on what to expect and what to wear — and I'm on hand for any questions in the run-up to your session.

—— How it Works
Turn up, be together, leave with the memories
It's wonderfully simple. Each family gets a 25-minute slot — I run two an hour across the day, so you arrive, we have a brilliant time, and then you're free to get on with your weekend.
There's no big production and nothing to perform. I’ll get you in the perfect spot with lots of gorgeous light and give you something simple to do.
Then, I'll gently steer everyone just enough to get those natural, happy frames — while it still feels like play, not a photoshoot.
If you've got a toddler mid-meltdown or a teenager who'd rather be anywhere else, don't worry. After a decade behind the camera and a thousand-plus shoots, there's no age or mood I haven't met. The chaos is part of it — and part of the fun.
All you have to do is turn up and be with your family. I'll handle the rest.
—— When & How to Book ——
Twice a year, waitlist first
Here's the catch (the loveliest kind): I only run these twice a year.
Spring minis land in March or April, when the blossom's out; autumn minis in October and November, when the park turns red and gold.
That's it — no minis the rest of the year, which is part of what makes them special.
Because there are only a handful of slots each season, they go to my waitlist first. If you're on the list, you get the dates and times before anyone else, with a 48-hour window to grab your spot — and the prime times tend to go in that window.
So the single best thing you can do is join the waitlist. It's free, there's no obligation, and it simply means you're first in the queue when sessions open.
Spaces are released roughly six weeks ahead — autumn dates around September, spring dates around December.

Good questions, honest answers

We reschedule — simple as that. The great British weather being what it is, I keep a close eye on the forecast in the run-up to your session. If rain looks set in, I'll be in touch the week before to warn you it's likely, and we make the final call by 8am on the day. You'll never be left standing in a downpour, and you won't lose your spot — we just move to a make-up date.

No — and that's part of what makes them special. I only run seasonal weekend minis twice a year: once in Spring, once in Autumn. The best way to get one is to join my waitlist. I release dates around six weeks ahead (Autumn in September, Spring in December), and the list gets first pick before they go public — and they tend to sell out within 48 hours. So being on the list is everything.

Whatever you're all comfortable in — that's the real secret. As a rule of thumb, colours that sit nicely together beat everyone in a matching uniform, and soft, simple tones look lovely against the park. Don't overthink it, though: once you've booked, I send a full what-to-wear guide tailored to the season, so you're never left guessing.

Your gallery lands within two weeks of your session. Inside, you'll find at least 15 edited images to view, and you choose your five favourites to download in full resolution (one of them as a 12"x8" fine art print). Fallen for more than five? You can add the whole gallery for £125, or pick up extra images at £25 each.

The £175 deposit secures your slot and is non-refundable — it's what holds your time against everyone else hoping for it. The remaining £225 is due the week before your session. And if we have to move the date for weather, your booking simply travels with you to the make-up day.

Not a problem in the slightest — it's what I expect, and it's the whole point of how I shoot. I don't do stiff, sit-still-and-smile photos. With a toddler, we let them be a toddler: wriggling, running, the lot. Honestly, some of my favourite shots come from the in-between moments, never the posed ones. And a teen who'd rather be anywhere else? I won't ask them to perform. We keep it relaxed and low-pressure, usually with a bit of a laugh, and the real them comes through. You don't need anyone to behave. You just need to turn up — I'll handle the rest.

Yes — completely. Your gallery is high-resolution digital images that are yours to keep, and you're free to print them wherever you like, as often as you like. There is a professional print lab linked to your gallery if you’d like to order beautiful professional quality prints, but you can use your favourite print shop as well. Pop them on the wall, put them in a frame, send them round the whole family — there are no locked files. They're your memories; do whatever you'd love with them.
