As a highly experienced London Family Photographer I charge according to my expertise. My photoshoots range in price from £525 to £995 depending on how long you want to book me for. Choose from a 30-minute, 1-hour or 2-hour session.

Absolutely — some of my favourite sessions are the big ones, with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all together. An extended-family gathering is often the only time everyone's in the same place at once, which makes those photos really precious. Larger groups usually suit a 1-hour or 2-hour session, so there's room for the whole gang, the smaller family units within it, and all the candid in-between moments. I work across all areas of London within the M25 boundary. Most of my photoshoots take place in central London near Waterloo, Westminster and London Bridge, but I can travel to any London Borough for your photoshoot.

You can book a 30-minute mini session (best if you have small children or are short on time), or a 1-hour photoshoot (best for exploring one London location), or choose a 2-hour photoshoot for different locations and multiple outfit changes.

I offer all of my clients styling advice when booking their London Family photoshoots. My key advice is co-ordinate colours (don't match), stay away from lots of busy patterns or bright neons, and wear what you feel best in.

Always book your photoshoot as far in advance as you can. My busiest seasons are Summer, Autumn and Christmas, so if you want a peak date then get in touch at least 3 months in advance. I do sometimes have space for last minute bookings at other times of the year.

Absolutely! I specialise in photographing families on vacation and tourists in London. I know all the best places for incredible, iconic London photoshoots, and the less well-known secret spaces, as well as the best time of day to book for beautiful light and fewer crowds around the main sights.

I edit all of the photos I take, apart from duplicates, so this differs for each photoshoot. You can expect to receive an absolute minimum of 15 digital images from a 30-minute photoshoot, 40 digital images from a 1-hour photoshoot and 60 digital images from a 2-hour shoot.

Absolutely — little ones are my speciality. As a mum of two, I know toddlers aren't keen on sitting still and smiling on command, so I don't ask them to. My sessions are relaxed and full of games, movement and giggles, which is exactly how you get natural, joyful photos rather than stiff posed ones. A 30-minute mini session often works beautifully for the youngest children or shorter attention spans. Yes, always. The little ones set the schedule, and I plan around them rather than the other way round. We'll pick a time that dodges the worst of nap o'clock, and if there's a meltdown halfway through, that's completely fine: we pause, have a snack, and pick it back up when they're ready. I don't need a toddler to sit still and smile on cue. I bring games and movement, so the wobbles and the recovery are all part of it, and often make the very best photos. One family's little ones spent half the session running in different directions, and we still came away with photos they loved AND we had fun. A 30-minute mini session usually suits the youngest ones, or the shortest fuses.

Yes — in-home lifestyle sessions are one of my favourites. There's something special about photographing your family in your own space, surrounded by the little details that make your house yours, and they're especially lovely for newborns, babies and toddlers who are happiest at home. In-home sessions usually work best in the morning for the brightest natural light. I'm a South West London family photographer, and I'm also happy to shoot in parks or at iconic London landmarks if you'd like to mix locations.

Honestly, this might be my favourite thing to be wrong about. So many people book bracing themselves for a reluctant other half, and then spend the whole shoot laughing. I never make anyone perform or pose stiffly waiting to be photographed. I get you doing things together, so the camera-shy one usually forgets I'm there. One mum told me her husband does NOT like getting his picture taken, and even he came away having enjoyed it. If your partner is dreading it, that's completely normal, and genuinely not something you need to worry about.

London weather is famously unpredictable, so I keep a close eye on the forecast in the run-up to your shoot. Think of me as the person who worries about the weather so you don't have to. If heavy rain looks likely (and in London we often only know a day or so out), we'll make a plan: I always keep flexibility in my diary to reschedule, or we can move your session into the comfort of your own home if you'd prefer. Either way, you'll never be left standing in the rain, and we'll always find a way to get you beautiful photos.

To secure your date, I take a non-refundable deposit, with the balance due the week before your shoot. Life happens, though, and I'm a mum too, so I completely understand that children get poorly and things crop up. If the unexpected happens — a poorly child, a family emergency — just let me know and we'll find you a new date. I'll always do my best to make it easy.

Honestly, all of them — London gives you something lovely in every season. Spring brings blossom and fresh green, summer brings long golden evenings, autumn turns the parks rich with colour (my personal favourite), and winter has crisp light and a festive feel. Because I only ever shoot in natural light, we'll pick the time of day to suit the season. My busiest months are summer, autumn and Christmas, so if you've got a peak date in mind, it's worth getting in touch a few months ahead.

For outdoor sessions, early morning or the golden hour or two before sunset — that's when the light is softest and most flattering, and when the popular London spots are at their quietest. If you're booking a central London location, an early start (before around 9:30am) beats the crowds beautifully. In-home sessions are usually best in the morning, when the light through your windows is at its brightest. Don't worry about working this out yourself, though — I'll help you choose the perfect time when we plan your session.

You'll get a full set of beautifully edited, high-resolution digital images in your own private online gallery, ready to download, share with all the family, and keep forever. Galleries arrive within 10 to 14 days of your shoot. Everything's digital, so you can enjoy your photos however and wherever you like — whether that's the grandparents down the road or family on the other side of the world.

Yes please — pets are always welcome, and we love a fluffy, furry friend joining in. Dogs are part of the family, so it's only right they're in the photos too. Just let me know in advance that your four-legged family member is coming, so we can pick a dog-friendly spot and plan around them. I've photographed plenty of dogs over the years, and I'm well practised at coaxing out a good sit (and even the odd smile).

I'd love to, as part of a family session. You'll find newborns and tiny babies all through my galleries, snuggled in with their brothers, sisters and parents. What I don't offer is the traditional posed, wrapped-up newborn shoot, or a dedicated newborn-only session. My style is natural and lifestyle, capturing your new arrival as part of the whole family, exactly as this season really looks. In-home sessions are especially lovely with a newborn, when everyone's most comfortable.

Yes, I do, though not as a separate, formal package. I photograph maternity in the same natural, on-location style as the rest of my work: think a beautiful London park at golden hour rather than gowns and a studio backdrop.
