The excitement of Halloween and bonfire night is in the air, Christmas is on the horizon and BEST of all, we have whole days of gorgeous golden light (and lots of lovely Autumn leaves to play in).

Many of us became intimately acquainted with our local parks during lockdown, and this family spent a huge amount of their time running off some toddler energy in Hyde Park.

The best location for an Autumn Family Photoshoot in Hyde Park is ALWAYS going to be somewhere that holds some meaning for you as a family.

Perhaps it will be somewhere with some famous landmarks in the background? Or familiar paths you often tread.

For this family we decided to stick to the Serpentine near Kensington Palace Gardens where they had many happy memories of picnicking over the summer.

The beauty of this time of year is that an Autumn Family Photoshoot in Hyde Park could take place at almost any time of day.

But the best times are always going to be in the morning and later on in the afternoon.

For this reason, I usually advise my families to stick to a shoot around 9:30/10am for morning sessions and then 2pm for afternoon sessions (because the sun sets so early at this time of year).

For this shoot we had lots of gorgeous morning sunshine, perfect for playing in the leaves and escaping mum and dad!
