Every business is different, which is why we’ll first need to chat about what photos you need for your business. I’ll then create a bespoke course specifically for you.
While the kinds of images you’ll need will be specific to you, the skills I teach are universal and can be applied to a number of different scenarios.
In every workshop I run, we go over the main features of your camera app, how they actually work, and (more importantly) when to use them.
We’ll also talk about simple composition rules and how to apply them to different scenarios and also the importance of light in creating good photos.
Photography is something that is best learned by doing, so each workshop includes lots of hands on practice with the chance to ask questions.
What phone do I need to take part in a Mobile Phone Photography Workshop for business?
I teach people how to use the camera app in the phone they have on them! So it doesn’t matter if you have an iPhone, Google Pixel, or Samsung phone. As long as it has a camera app on it, you can take part in my workshop.
How long is a Mobile Phone Photography Workshop for business?
The workshop lasts around 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time to get lots of practice in as well as review some of the images that the attendees have taken - which is always a valuable part of the workshop!
How many people can take part in a Mobile Phone Photography Workshop for business?
I can deliver the workshop for groups ranging from 4, right up to 25. I have found that around 10 to 15 people tends to be a good number. It’s enough to do the practical challenges in small groups or pairs and also benefit from 1:1 help if needed.
I can deliver the workshop to larger groups - and have done so at conferences for example.
However the format of the workshop does change to more of a presentation to accommodate larger groups.
Where does the Mobile Phone Photography Workshop for business take place?
I usually deliver these workshops on location at your business. It is helpful if we have a room where I can present the workshop - with a viewing screen to show slides and also go through images the attendees take. It’s also beneficial have some indoor or outdoor space where we can complete the practical challenges.
All attendees receive a digital pocket guide to download to their phones, with notes on what they have learned which they can refer to in future. And I can also deliver the workshop using this guide if you do not have presentation facilities at your place of business.
How much does a Mobile Phone Photography Workshop for business cost?
The workshop costs £595 if booked on a week day and £695 if booked on a weekend. I request a £150 deposit to secure your booking, with the remainder of the fee due the week before the workshop is set to take place.
